Baltimore County Public Library

In 2020, Baltimore County Public Library launched a new initiative to build a Mobile Law Library Center. Wheels for Change donated funds towards this vehicle which provides free legal services directly in the community to targeted groups, such as individuals with disabilities, seniors, veterans, low income and justice-involved. Services provided are based upon a recognized need in underserved communities, reaching those who don’t have access to legal services. Retrofitted to include two private meeting spaces, the vehicle includes a librarian to work one-on-one with customers to provide general legal resources with a focus on immigration, education and social welfare and health care.
